In this video, we visit the biggest Buddha in Bangkok, located at Wat Paknam Temple. Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is a royal temple located in the Phasi Charoen district. Standing a huge 64 metres (some sources say 69 metres) this Buddha statue is worth a visit. Construction of the statue started in 2017 & was finally finished in 2021 with some delays due to covid. The temple complex is not just about the Buddha statue, there's also an impressive 80-metre-tall white stupa that houses plenty of Buddha relics & an emerald-green glass stupa inside. Don't forget there's also Wat Khun Cha a short 5-minute walk away which is another temple complex that is worth a visit. To get to Wat Paknam you can take the MRT, get off at station Bang Phai, it's just a short 800-metre 12-minute walk or you can get a motorbike taxi from the top of the road for just 10 THB.
