RFM Space — ENVI: Environmental Sound & Atmosphere Generator

Meet ENVI — the environmental sound and atmosphere generator in RFM Space. ENVI brings an organic, environmental layer into the modular world of RFM Space. Generate evolving atmospheric textures inspired by environmental phenomena such as rain, wind, clouds and snow, and use them as part of a patch rather than simply playing back a static ambience. ENVI is designed to make the environment itself feel like part of the instrument. Its parameters can evolve over time and, like other elements in RFM Space, become part of the modular modulation system. The visual environment also responds to ENVI, connecting what you see in the Space with what you hear. In this video I explore the ENVI module, its different environmental modes and how it can add movement, texture and atmosphere to an RFM Space patch.
