SOE Message: Recount Update

Elections don't end on Election Night - and today, we continue with a recount called by the Collier County Canvassing Board this morning. Beginning at 1 p.m. today, August 21, elections staff will begin the process with a Logic & Accuracy Test of voting equipment followed by a machine recount. Following the posting of our 1st Unofficial Results, which included provisional ballots and any Vote-by-Mail ballot cures, the election result difference between Yes and No on the Marco Island Referendum continues to be separated by just one vote.
