raise the neckline on simplicity s9702 | sewing adjustment | sewing

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a requested video from one of my Sew In 30 Lives. A supporter asked me to share how I raised the neckline on Simplicity S9702. This dress is perfect for Spring/Summer but the neckline was low for my liking in the first dress I made back in 2023. I wrote about it here on my blog ( https://www.brittanyjjones.com/sewing... ) and decided to make it again with the adjustments. PLEASE WATCH THE FULL VIDEO BEFORE CUTTING YOUR PATTERN & FABRIC. This is NOT a step by step sew along video. I'm only demonstrating the adjustment I made to the pattern and how to sew the front pattern and front facing together. YOU WILL NEED TO FOLLOW THE PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS and sew the shoulder seams and facing seams together BEFORE sewing the bodice and facing together.
