Starting something new feels a little different after 35.
The older I get, the easier it is to feel like I should already know what I’m doing. But lately, I’ve been learning to become comfortable with being a beginner again — with not knowing, making mistakes, and figuring things out little by little.
In this quiet day at home, I make a simple breakfast, spend some time learning French, take a break when my brain needs one, and finally try using my blender for the first time to make a warm pumpkin and millet drink.
Nothing life-changing happens today. Just a few small attempts, a few familiar routines, and a reminder that growing older doesn’t mean we have to stop being curious.
Maybe we don’t need to feel completely ready before we begin.
Sometimes, being willing to try is enough.
Thank you for spending another quiet day with me. 🤍
