Electronics Prices in Hungary (Phones, Laptops, Rice Cookers, etc.) | Got Accused of Stealing 😭

I went out to buy a rice cooker in Budapest, Hungary — and somehow ended up getting accused of stealing. 😭🇭🇺 In this vlog, I visit MediaMarkt to look for a rice cooker and spend quite a bit of time exploring the store and checking out different electronics and appliances available in Hungary. I show prices and options for things like: 🍚 Rice cookers 🍳 Air fryers 📱 Phones and phone accessories 🔌 Data cables 🧺 Washing machines 📺 TVs and LEDs 🍽️ Microwaves 🥣 Stand mixers ⚡ Other kitchen appliances and electronics I was originally looking for a multi-cooker, but since I couldn’t find one that suited what I needed, I ended up buying a rice cooker instead. After shopping, I head back to my dorm, unbox the rice cooker and show what I bought. I also show some of the things I picked up from SPAR, including shampoo and yogurt. And then there’s the slightly awkward part of the day… At SPAR, a staff member stopped me and asked to see my receipt because she thought I hadn’t scanned the rice cooker. I showed her the receipt, she realized everything was fine and apologized, and I decided to just let it go. Retail workers have a difficult job too, and she asked me politely, so there was no reason to make a bigger issue out of it. So this ended up being a pretty normal shopping trip… with a slightly unexpected ending. 📍 Budapest, Hungary 🎓 Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) 🍚 Rice Cooker Shopping 🛒 MediaMarkt Hungary 🛍️ SPAR Hungary 🏠 Dorm Life 🇭🇺 Student Life in Hungary If you’re interested in student life in Hungary, shopping in Budapest, electronics and appliance prices, dorm life, BME or what it’s actually like living abroad as an international student, subscribe for more videos!
