☕ Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/purodino One year ago (05/07/2025), I picked up Alfredo – my 1974 Dino 308 GT4 – and finally fulfilled a dream I had carried with me for decades. Looking back now, I realise that I didn't just buy a classic Italian sports car... I bought an adventure. In this anniversary episode of Puro Dino, I look back on everything that happened during Alfredo's first year with me. From buying and collecting the car, finding the right mechanic, getting it road legal, and finally hearing that glorious V8 sing as it was meant to, to the unexpected friendships, remarkable discoveries, and the research that has taken me far deeper into the history of the Dino marque than I ever imagined possible. This past year has introduced me to former Ferrari (and Bugatti) engineers, people who actually worked on these cars when they were new, and even led me to uncover fascinating information about the production of the early Series 1 Dino 308 GT4 body panels—research that may challenge some long-held assumptions. Of course, classic car ownership isn't all sunshine and V8 music. Alfredo has also reminded me that a 50-year-old Italian sports car always has another surprise waiting around the corner! With suspension work still ahead and the interior about to begin its restoration, the journey is far from over. If you've ever wondered what it's really like to own a classic Ferrari, I hope you'll enjoy coming along for the ride. Thank you to everyone who has supported Puro Dino over the past year. Whether you've subscribed, left a comment, shared an episode, or simply watched from the sidelines, it genuinely means the world to me. If you'd like to help keep Alfredo on the road and support both the restoration and the historical research, you can do so here: ☕ Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/purodino 👍 If you enjoyed the video, please consider: • Liking the video • Subscribing to the channel • Leaving a comment—I always enjoy hearing from fellow enthusiasts!
