Naruto Wouldn't Exist Without This Anime (Ninku Explained)

Before Naruto, there was Ninku: a twelve-year-old wind fighter, a penguin, and a scattered corps of zodiac captains being hunted by an empire. This video walks through the anime's world, characters, and powers—and puts its familiar-looking techniques beside Naruto's. What did Ninku pass on to Naruto? We look at Kishimoto's own words, wind pressure palms, zodiac schools, the log trick, and a team of fighters who are stronger than they look. Shared ninja traditions aren't exclusive to either series, and the manga and anime tell different versions of Ninku's story.
