In my opinion, mystic is pretty strong and consistent in current state. It might actually be the best role sometimes if the luck favors you. People think the role is completely random, which isn't correct. I find out the rules of mystic boons you can follow below. 1. The game shuffles 12 zodiac signs at the start of the game and when a sequence ends. 2. The initial boon, the sign that is on the left side of the boon wheel in the first round, implies you that you won't get this sign in the next 11 rounds, which means you start your game using the second boon. For example, if the initial sequence is Gemini → Capricorn → Cancer → Libra → Scorpio → Virgo → Pisces → Leo → Aquarius → Sagittarius → Aries → Taurus, you will see Gemini | Capricorn | Cancer on round 1, but you start with Capricorn and you will not see Gemini for the next 11 rounds because it's included in the same sequence. 3. The first 2 boons of a new sequence cannot repeat with the last 2 boons of an old sequence. For example, if a sequence is going to end with Aries → Taurus, you won't see Aries and Taurus in the first 2 boons of a new sequence.
