SLAYER – Live at VERA, Groningen, Netherlands – June 1, 1985 (Full Soundboard Audio)

A rare and historic soundboard recording of Slayer’s performance at VERA, Groningen on June 1, 1985. This concert took place during the Hell Awaits Tour 1985, just weeks after the album’s release. The band was at the beginning of their European breakthrough and played with the raw intensity that definitively put Slayer on the map. Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, and Dave Lombardo deliver an uncompromising set here full of classics from Show No Mercy, Haunting the Chapel, and the then-new Hell Awaits. The recording is hard, direct, and pure — exactly how Slayer sounded in 1985.
