ABOUT THE SPEAKER Dr. Hari Conjeevaram has been actively involved in the Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSSIO) for the past three decades. He currently serves as Co-Chairman, SSSIO Humanitarian Relief Committee; Zone 1 Medical Director (USA, Canada, West Indies); and Member, SSSIO International Medical Committee. In the USA, he serves as National Young Adult (YA) Male Advisor. Dr. Hari has coordinated local and international medical camps in the USA, Prasanthi Nilayam, Guyana, Kazakhstan, and Africa, along with disaster relief missions in the USA, Sri Lanka, Haiti, the Philippines, and Ecuador. Professionally, Dr. Hari is Tenured Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Alongside patient care, he is actively involved in clinical research and education in the USA and globally. His awards include the Commendation Medal for Exemplary Performance of Duty from President Bill Clinton, the Dean's Award for Community Service, the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, and the Distinguished Lifetime Educator Award from the American Gastroenterological Association.
