WLDAN - Futile (Official Music Video)

Futile, the new single by WLDAN Shot by Jacob Miski Produced and mixed by Jacob Miski Guitar by James Jones and Ankur Das Drums by Dan White Bass and Vocals by Will Johnson Mastered by Ian Flynn Another song inspired by Dan, my uncles best friend who unexpectedly & suddenly passed away from Cancer. Written based on one of my uncle Dom’s poems about grief and losing his closest friend. After travelling Canada together and embracing a life on the road, Dom discovered a tumour on Dan’s back, forcing them to return to the UK, where Dan sadly passed away shortly after. The song explores Dom picking up the pieces while carrying forward Dan’s belief in reconnecting with nature and the raw human experience. Lyrics: I triedto speak the truth But you told me They were selfish lies As amemory As a memory of you dies It's Futile All this waiting The dead Well the deadonly returnIn dreams Where there'sno limits And everythingfree Well the final conclusion Just another delusion Or a dream Of a wild and distant memory It's futile All this waiting(Face to face) The dead Well the deadonly returnin dreams (A soul set free) Where there’sno limits AndEverything is free Yeahhhh Save meset me free Rescue me Your allI need Management Contact: mgmt@katehelen.com
