In this video, I recorded a front view from the cab on the Senseki Line, featuring its newly introduced train—the first new model to appear in about 80 years. Along the way, you can enjoy views of Matsushima Bay, one of Japan’s Three Most Scenic Views, from the train window. This line was heavily affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and you’ll also see sections that were rebuilt or newly constructed, now fully back in operation.
