ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਤੂ ਮਾਣੁ | Bhai Harjinder Singh Srinagar Wale | Gurbani Shabad Kirtan

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਤੂ ਮਾਣੁ ॥ Har Jeeo Nimaaniaa Tuu Maan / Har Jio Nimaniya Tu Maan / Har Jiu Nimaniya Tu Maan “O Dear Lord, You are the honor of the dishonored.” In this Shabad, Guru Ji first addresses Waheguru as the One who restores what was lost, frees the captive, and takes away pain. The devotee then admits that they know nothing of good deeds or righteous living and are caught up in greed for Maya. Their only claim is that they are called the Lord’s devotee, so they ask the Lord to protect that honor, which is really His own. The Rahao gives the heart of the Shabad: the Lord gives worth to the worthless, and the devotee offers themselves to His creative power. Next comes the image of a child who makes countless mistakes and is scolded and taught by the father, yet is always pulled back into his embrace. In the same way, the devotee asks to be forgiven for the past and placed on the right path. Because the Lord already knows every heart, there is no one else to turn to. Clever words do not please Him, and after trying every other shelter, only His remains. The Shabad ends in grace: the Lord hears the prayer, joins the devotee with the Perfect Guru, ends all anxiety, and gives the medicine of Naam, so that Guru Nanak’s servant lives in peace. 📖 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 624 | Raag Sorath | Mahalla 5, Guru Arjan Dev Ji 🎤 Kirtan by Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji (Srinagar Wale), recorded at Gurudwara Shaheeda, New York, USA. This Gurbani Kirtan, also searched as “Nicheejiya Cheej Kare Mera Govind” or “Gayi Bahor Bandi Chhor Nirankar Dukhdari,” is a reminder of Waheguru’s forgiveness, humility (Nimrata), and the grace that gives honor to every humble devotee. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SikhTunes - Your Spiritual Companion in Sikhism 🙏 Welcome to SikhTunes, your gateway to the timeless wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the rich heritage of Sikhism.
