America's BIGGEST Mysteries *Marathon* | The UnXplained | History

Three unsolved disappearances — the Lost Colony of Roanoke, Amelia Earhart and DB Cooper — left no bodies and only one clue each. In 1590 115 colonists vanished from Roanoke Island leaving CROATOAN carved on a post, in 1937 Earhart's last call faded at 8:43 a.m. near Howland Island, and in 1971 a hijacker jumped with $200,000 over Washington at 10,000 feet. The film traces the dismantled fort, the $5,880 found at Tina Bar and the bones on Nikumaroro to test if they died or walked away.
