🙏 GOD KEPT THE RECEIPTS *Traditional Gospel | Contemporary Gospel Soul | Gumbo Tracks* *They lied about you. God heard it.* *They betrayed you. God saw it.* *They counted you out. God remembered.* And while you were trying to defend your name, explain your pain, and make people understand what really happened... *GOD WAS KEEPING THE RECEIPTS.* "God Kept The Receipts" is a powerful, testimony-driven Gospel Soul anthem from **Gumbo Tracks**, about a woman who endured seasons of injustice, heartbreak, and unanswered questions—only to discover that nothing she experienced went unnoticed by God. Every tear. Every prayer. Every sacrifice. Every closed door. Every battle she fought in silence. *He saw it all.* And when the truth finally comes to light, she realizes she never needed everybody to believe her. She needed the strength to keep believing in Him. ❤️ THE RECEIPTS INCLUDE YOUR BLESSINGS TOO But here's what makes *"God Kept The Receipts"* more than a song about hardships. God didn't just see what others did to you. *He saw what you did for others.* The kindness you showed when nobody was watching. The person you helped when you barely had enough yourself. The forgiveness you offered when bitterness would've been easier. The family you prayed for. The stranger you encouraged. The good you continued doing even when life wasn't treating you fairly. And He saw your mistakes, too. The moments you fell short. The times you needed forgiveness. The seasons when grace carried you farther than your own strength could. Because God's record isn't simply about judgment. *It's also about mercy, redemption, and grace.* 🙌 YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET EVEN One of the hardest lessons in life is learning that you don't have to personally settle every score. You don't have to return every insult. Expose every enemy. Answer every accusation. Or spend the rest of your life proving you were right. Romans 12:19 reminds believers to leave vengeance to God. That doesn't mean ignoring wrongdoing or refusing to seek justice. It means refusing to let revenge become the thing that controls your life. *Let truth matter. Let accountability matter. But don't let bitterness steal your peace.* Sometimes your testimony isn't that everybody who hurt you received punishment. Sometimes your testimony is that, despite everything you endured... *You survived. You healed. You forgave. And you're still standing.* 🎶 THE SOUND OF THE TESTIMONY Blending *Traditional Gospel* with **Contemporary Gospel Soul**, "God Kept The Receipts" carries the emotional weight of an old-fashioned church testimony with the richness of modern Gospel production. 🎹 Soul-stirring piano and Hammond organ. 🥁 Powerful Gospel rhythms and dynamic instrumentation. 🎤 A passionate female lead vocal filled with conviction, vulnerability, and spiritual strength. 🎶 Rich choir harmonies, soaring responses, and uplifting Gospel arrangements. 🔥 A triumphant, praise-filled atmosphere celebrating faith, endurance, and God's unwavering presence.
