Low Pressure Alert Odisha: Cyclonic Circulation Over Andaman Sea | Doppler Radar Concern | Heavy Rain Alert Odisha Weather Update: A cyclonic circulation that moved from North Thailand has emerged over the North Andaman Sea. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over the region around the evening of September 19. The system is likely to intensify gradually and move west-northwestwards towards the South Odisha–North Andhra Pradesh coast during the subsequent 3–4 days, raising the possibility of increased rainfall activity over Odisha. At the same time, questions have been raised over the operational status and availability of weather-radar data in Odisha.
