『GENKI 1』Lesson 7 (1)┃ ている Te-iru form (Action in Progress)

In this lesson we will learn how to use the te-forms together with the helping verb いる.　 Te-iru form describe action in progress or what has been happening now at present moment. For example: I am studying right now. 私は今勉強しています。 Te-iru sentences are also used to describe what a person does by occupation or by habit. ています te-imasu is the polite form of ている。 This is a video intended for students of Japanese language to learn the basics of Japanese grammar and vocabulary. I am a student of the Japanese language who wants to share my knowledge of the basics of the Japanese language.
