Are Marijuana and other Psychedelics Halal ? | هل الحشيش وغيرها من المخدرات حلال؟

In this thought-provoking episode, Taymour Elalfy joins Aba al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) to delve into the intriguing topic of plants with psychoactive or narcotic properties, and their religious permissibility. While many governments and religious authorities consider them illegal, we bypass the words of scholars to directly explore the scriptures and teachings of prophets and messengers. Through our investigation, we uncover indications in the scriptures, such as the permissibility of plants bearing seeds, including cannabis. Additionally, we reveal the true identity of the mysterious manna mentioned in the Torah, which was disclosed by Prophet Mohammed (PBUHAF) as a type of truffle or fungus, possibly with psychedelic properties. We also examine historical references to cannabis in the ingredients of temple incense. To further enrich our discussion, we look into Islamic narrations that mention the Prophet Mohammed (PBUHAF) partaking in something referred to as "hashisha," now known as cannabis or hash.
