People who felt unloved by everybody else were drawn to Jesus. When everyone around them couldn't see past their faults and failures, Jesus was reaching out to them. That's exactly how we should respond to those who feel rejected. When they sense that we see them as more than just a laundry list of their mistakes, they will be open to the Good News of the Gospel.
