This is archival cine film from a tour of the Isle of Wight. The locations listed are correct as far as we know, but if anyone has more information on them, please comment below with the video timestamp and location name. This 1967 digitised cine film Part Two of the Isle of Wight shows different locations and they are listed below with timestamps and a special thanks go to @GarethBramley1 for sharing the locations! 0:00 - Main Road, Brighstone showing St. Mary's church and tea rooms. 0:23 - Shows The New Inn (now The Three Bishops) - the first two buildings on the left; and the village stores (thatched) on the far right. (only just visible here but becomes visible later). The tall building on the right was The Five Bells PH but it was closed in 1919 when the licence was withdrawn. The publican at time of closure was Walter Murray. He continued to trade, turning the premises into the village shop which was taken over and run by their son until his death in 1968. 0:43 - This is Heath Cottage which, last July, was empty and being renovated again (more flats/holiday apartments??). 01:04 - Alum Bay - note the kiosk on the beach selling coloured sands. In the 60s and 70s people used to climb the cliff to collect their own sand too - this went on till the early 80s I think. No sign of any chairlift here, just steps - so this is before 18th April 1973 when it was opened. 02:03 - Osborne House, East Cowes. 02:20 - Cowes. 02:46 - Osborne Court Apartment Block (this is a prominent 1930s Art Deco apartment block situated on the seafront, offering iconic views of the Solent. Built during a period of seaside development, it serves as a stark, modern contrast to the nearby historic Victorian-era Osborne House. 03:14 - Pencil Cottage in Shanklin Old Village - now a gift shop. Panning left we see the lane down to The Chine. On the left of that is The Crab Inn (formerly Crab Hotel). 04:00 - The Old Thatch - also seen later - looking down the Pencil Cottage and Crab Inn. Another glimpse of the open top bus (No.17) going to Sandown Road. Note the Ventnor Laundry van that follows it. 04:28 - Filmed from just a little further up the road from the Old Thatch looking down the road again. Just visible on the right is part of what is now King Harry's Bar but here was the Glendale Hotel. 04:50 - Shanklin / 05:12 beach showing pier and (Small) Hope beach. The pier was heavily damaged by the great storm in October 1987 and demolished in February 1993. 05:46 Could be Bournemouth Pavilion and the gardens , with the last shot of the A B C cinema in Westover Rd. (This has been provided by @ireneforward8115 - thank you).
