Field Testing SMGs for the Next Combat Role Video | Helldivers 2

Today I’m field testing the submachine guns in Helldivers 2 as I prepare for the next Combat Role video. I’ll be working through a mixture of controlled testing, damage and enemy breakpoints, recoil and handling, effective range, ammo economy, and performance during actual missions. I may take individual SMGs from controlled testing all the way into the field, or focus on getting several weapons tested under controlled conditions before moving on to mission performance. This is the research and testing phase, so the exact plan may evolve as the stream progresses and some conclusions may change before the finished Combat Role analysis. Fun first, meta second.
