Kochi Walking Tour Vlog | Thoppumpady to Willingdon Island | Ernakulam, Kerala | Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of our Kochi walking vlog, exploring the historic and lively surroundings of Thoppumpady, Kochi, Kerala. In the previous episode, we walked from Willingdon Island to Thoppumpady Junction, crossing the historic Old Harbour Bridge and exploring the sights, history and harbour surroundings along the way. In this episode, we continue our journey through Thoppumpady, exploring the local streets, junctions, harbour views, colourful fishing boats and everyday life around this historic part of Kochi. During the walk, we visit Thoppumpady Bus Stand, explore the area around Piarry Junction, stop for a refreshing pineapple juice, and continue towards the harbour side. One interesting thing we notice is the colour coding of fishing boats from different states. We also see fishermen preparing their nets and a fishing boat lifted up for maintenance. From Thoppumpady, we get beautiful views towards Willingdon Island, the Old Harbour Bridge, and the Kochi harbour area. We also pass by St. Sebastian's Church and experience the everyday atmosphere of this busy coastal part of Ernakulam.
