I remember renting this as a kid and by looking at the graphics thinking it's gonna be the best thing ever... Once again my chunky lil heart got broken as this thing is frustration overload. Reminds me of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game where it's marketed as being fast paced, but if you try to play fast you die constantly. It's such a shame the controls are so bad, there's a ton of great Wile E. contraptions to see here. Too bad barely anyone played long enough to see em... Road Runner’s Death Valley Rally is a fast-paced platform game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System starring the classic Looney Tunes character Road Runner. Developed by ICOM Simulations and published by Hi-Tech Expressions, the game puts you in control of Road Runner as he races through dangerous desert environments while trying to stay one step ahead of Wile E. Coyote. Rather than a traditional platformer, the game focuses heavily on Road Runner’s incredible speed. You’ll sprint through stages filled with cliffs, cacti, rocks, pits, and other hazards while collecting food and avoiding obstacles. Wile E. Coyote constantly attempts to stop you using a variety of ridiculous traps and contraptions, and running into him or the environment can cost you valuable time and lives. The game features several different types of stages, including high-speed runs across the desert and sections where Road Runner must carefully navigate obstacles and hazards. The SNES hardware gives the game colorful graphics, smooth animation, and a distinctive cartoon presentation that captures the look and humor of the classic Road Runner cartoons. Road Runner’s Death Valley Rally is essentially a game about speed, reflexes, and memorizing dangerous sections of each course. Its combination of frantic running, cartoon slapstick, and Wile E. Coyote’s increasingly absurd attempts to catch Road Runner makes it an interesting and challenging Looney Tunes title on the SNES. *any muted scenes are likely due to YouTube's automatic copyright system
