TAIWAN - North Coast Tour: Yehliu, Shifen and Jiufen

Solo in Taiwan, but never truly alone when the views are this good! 🇹🇼✨ Took a day trip up north with a North Coast Tour I booked on Klook, and it was the ultimate mix of wild landscapes, culture, and incredible street food. Here is a breakdown of the trip: 🗿 Yehliu Geopark – Wandering through surreal rock formations shaped by nature over thousands of years (yes, saw the iconic Queen’s Head!). 💦 Shifen Waterfalls – Taiwan’s very own "Little Niagara." The mist and lush green views are unreal. 🏮 Shifen Old Street – Released a sky lantern right on the train tracks with all my wishes for future travels. 🏮 Jiufen Old Street – Stepped right into a real-life fairytale. Wandering the narrow lantern-lit alleys, sipping tea, and eating endless taro balls as the sun set. Traveling solo means moving at your own pace, meeting awesome people along the way, and letting a day tour handle all the logistics while you just soak it all in. 📍 Tour booked via: Klook 🎒 Vibe: Unforgettable ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - Intro & Heading Out Solo 05:51 - Taipei Main Station - East 3 (Gate Bus Pick-up) 08:10 - Yehliu Geopark 11:07 - Queen's Head 13:37 - Shifen Waterfall 19:09 - Shifen Old Street 20:12 - Sky Lantern 22:12 - Exploring Jiufen Old Street & Tea Houses 25:03 - Returning to Taipei & Final Thoughts Have you ever explored northern Taiwan?
