The Razorwire - Above the Sky • 80s Glam / Hair Metal / Female Vocal

“Above the Sky” — The Razorwire A high-altitude glam metal anthem about speed, nerve, freedom, and that moment when the ground disappears beneath you. Big guitars, screaming leads, thunderous drums and a chorus built to feel like breaking through the clouds at full throttle. Turn it up. Leave the ground behind. Go above the sky. ⚡ The Razorwire Female-fronted glam / hair metal inspired by the larger-than-life sound and attitude of the late ’80s. Lyrics: Higher… higher… Throttle pushed forward, horizon disappears Heart slamming harder with every shifting gear They said the sky's the limit, I said "watch me climb" I was built for this rush, built to own the sky No turning back, no room for doubt Just me, the machine, and the breaking sound Above the sky! Breaking through the blue! Above the sky! Nothing left to lose! Wings of fire, soul on overload I'm flying higher than I've ever gone before! Whoa-oh-oh! Above the sky! Whoa-oh-oh! Watch me fly! G-forces pulling, vision starts to blur But in this moment I've never felt so sure Every doubt they threw just became my fuel Now I'm rewriting every single rule Above the sky! Breaking through the blue! Above the sky! Nothing left to lose! Wings of fire, soul on overload I'm flying higher than I've ever gone before! This is what it feels like… When you stop falling… And start flying… AND START FLYING! Above the sky! Screaming through the blue! Above the sky! This is what I'm born to do! No limits, no ceiling, no looking down I own the heavens — queen without a crown! Watch me fly! Higher! Above the sky… We own the sky… Higher… higher… higher! #TheRazorwire #Abovethesky #GlamMetal #SleazeRock #HardRock #FemaleFronted #WomenOfRock #RockMusic #NewMusic2026 #RockBand #HeavyMetal #80sRock #MusicVideo #NeonRazorRecords #RockIsNotDead
