The poleaxes are made out of real steel. The spikes have a blunt tip. Thrusts and strikes with these weapons are really dangerous and even a blunt one can kill you without armor. My opponent is Augusto Boer Bront. He is a poleaxe student of Arne Koets and l a full time armorer. Of course he forged his own armor, like I did. The funny part of armorer making their own armor is, that it's often rusty, unpolished and often not planished.
