Trying to Climb Romania's Highest Peak Moldoveanu Peak in ONE DAY, which usually takes people 2-3 days, doing some sightseeing and seeing something I NEVER SAW BEFORE :-O!? Gear list for Balea Lac - Moldoveanu Peak in one day: Maps: Gaia GPS Water: 3,5L plus electrolytes ( I didn't drink all because the day I hiked was not too hot, max 21-25C) Snacks - wafers and chicken sandwich Powerbank headlight ( actually had forgotten to charge it but it's helpful) thin hoodie and rain jacket + shorts (summer) first aid kit sunscreen cash in emergency for hut ( euros) and ID hat or cap for sun bearspray (could be nice against a gang of dogs too) Footwear: Good shoes with good grip for scrambling but I would advice either use, hiking boots, hiking shoes, approach shoes ( is what I had) or good trail runners always check weather forecast before you leave good luck if you go :-D have fun Music: Music by: https://www.bensound.com/free-music-f...
