Brotherton Bridge, which crosses the River Aire between West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire, was being given a major refurbishment over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, 2026. The structure, dating back to 1903, crosses between Ferrybridge, in the Wakefield district, and the village of Brotherton, in the Selby district.
