On wet and rainy day in summer 2024, driving from East Hills Park in Livingston up Shrewsbury Drive and Laurel Avenue onto the I-280 E that takes us past the Oranges, Newark and Harrison, and onto the Newark-Jersey City Turnpike, over the Wittpenn Bridge, through the hellscape that is Tonnelle Circle onto Kennedy Boulevard and into Jersey City Heights.
