The FINAL Steps Before Pulling the Engine! Honda Accord Type R

We're BACK working on the Honda Accord Type R, and the madness continues! After taking a few breaks from the Accord to work on Greenie, my Toyota MR2 SW20, and attend Castle Combe Halloween Action Day, it's finally time to get back to the job we've been working towards for so long… getting this engine and gearbox out! With the interior stripping, hidden rust and questionable repairs already keeping us busy, there's still plenty to do before we can get the engine out of the car. This time, we're tackling the fuel system and preparing the Accord for the next major stage of the restoration. IN THIS EPISODE: Draining the fuel tank on the Honda Accord Type R Removing the fuel sender unit Transferring the fuel into my MR2 SW20 daily-driver/track car Preparing to disconnect the high-pressure fuel lines Getting one step closer to the big engine and gearbox removal! These jobs might not be the most exciting part of an engine pull, but they're all necessary to get the car ready. Every time we strip something else away, we're one step closer to finally freeing the engine and gearbox from the Accord. And after everything we've discovered so far, I'm ready to get this next stage underway! THE BIG ENGINE PULL IS NEXT! In the next episode, the plan is to fully remove the engine and gearbox from the Accord. It's a massive milestone in this project, and I can't wait to see what happens when we finally get them out. Will it all go smoothly, or is this Honda hiding even more surprises for us? With this car, I'm not counting on an easy job!
