26th February 2026 -- The most sacred and awaited moment of our journey 🪔🤍 Our wedding was performed during the auspicious Muhurtham (Meena Lagnam), following traditional Iyer rituals that beautifully symbolize love, commitment, and togetherness. The ceremony began with Kashi Yatra, where the groom is reminded of the importance of family life, followed by Maalai Maatral (exchange of garlands) and the joyful Oonjal ceremony, representing balance and support in marriage 🌸 The deeply emotional Kanyadaanam marked the giving away of the bride, followed by the most significant moment—Mangalya Dharanam (tying of the thaali) 💛 This was followed by Akshadai, where blessings were showered by loved ones, and Sapthapathi, the seven sacred steps symbolizing lifelong promises and partnership 🔥 Each ritual carries a profound meaning—rooted in tradition, guided by blessings, and centered around the union of two souls and families ✨ A moment that felt both timeless and deeply personal 🤍
