Dorothy Movie Review | Karthik Subbaraj | Keerthy Suresh | Sananth | Rishikanth Is Karthik Subbaraj's Dorothy the boldest and most daring Indian film of the year? In this review, we break down the Tamil drama thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj, starring Keerthy Suresh, Sananth, and Rishikanth, with a legendary score by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Set in the early 1990s in rural Tamil Nadu, Dorothy dives deep into complex themes of childhood friendship, toxic masculinity, caste dynamics, patriarchy, and identity. We discuss the standout performances of Sananth and Rishikanth, the impact of Keerthy Suresh's angelic central role, whether the narrative pacing works in the second half, and that polarizing, rule-breaking climax.
