LAUNCH: DANGOTE NAMIBIA TANK FARM & REGIONAL PIPELINE PROJECT - 04 Nov 2026

Namibia officially launches the Dangote Namibia Tank Farm and Regional Pipeline Project at Farm 58 in Walvis Bay, Erongo Region. The development is expected to strengthen the country’s energy infrastructure and regional petroleum supply capacity. The tank farm is a large-scale petroleum storage facility with a capacity of more than 1.6 million barrels of petrol and diesel. It features two main storage tanks and two dispensing tanks. The pipeline project will run from Walvis Bay through Botswana to Zimbabwe and Zambia, with possible extensions towards South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The launch will be officiated by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, alongside Nigerian industrialist and President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
