One day ahead. Her future self seems to know exactly what she will say before she ever reaches the moment. The next day, the broadcast begins coming true. The same office. The same closed door. The same warning from her superior: “Do not let this get outside.” She already knew it was coming. She had recorded the evidence. But the mysterious transmission continues, revealing another future line: “I will report it.” At first, that sounds like an answer. Tell the truth. Expose everything. But then another fear appears. If she reports it only because her future voice said she would— is that really her decision? If she stays silent, she obeys one version of the future. If she speaks, perhaps she obeys another. Either way, is she still trapped inside a script that has already been broadcast? Then the frequency says: “You will obey.” And she finally understands. This isn’t prophecy. It’s an order. In the final transmission, her future voice quietly says: “I will stay silent.” For one moment, she feels relieved. She can do nothing. Lose nothing. Wait for morning. But hearing those words makes the truth clear. She was never truly afraid of the future. She was afraid of having her choice taken away. So she connects the evidence recording to the broadcast line.
