I travelled deep into Afghanistan to uncover a side of the country that very few people have ever seen — the life of Hindus and Sikhs, their forgotten temples and gurdwaras, and the history they have left behind. 🇦🇫🇮🇳 This is one of the most special and challenging journeys I have ever filmed. In this documentary, I travel through Afghanistan to meet members of the remaining Hindu and Sikh communities, explore their places of worship, and search for forgotten Hindu temples and historic Sikh sites that are rarely seen by Indian audiences. As an Indian traveller, I wanted to see the reality for myself — not through social media, news headlines or old photographs, but by actually travelling there, meeting people, walking through these places and documenting what I found.
