She Moved to Thailand Alone, Found Love and Built a New Life

Tori moved from the United States to Thailand looking for a healthier, more flexible and affordable way of life. What began as a base for exploring Southeast Asia eventually became the place where she found love, started a family and created a home. In this episode, Tori and Calvin invite us inside their spacious family house in Thailand, complete with two kitchens, an oven, a dishwasher and plenty of room for their young son. Tori says their rent is approximately $1,400 per month, while housing and basic utilities bring the total to around $1,600—significantly less than the roughly $3,000 she previously spent on housing and utilities in New Jersey.
