Back to The Smokies - where Helene knocked me off trail - Appalachian Trail '25 Section Hike-Rd 3

Mrs. Data and I went for a little hike in the Morton Arboretum to check out some new public sculptures that have been installed. I decided to go over my plan for my upcoming hike on the Appalachian Trail, starting at Burningtown Gap where Hurricane Helene knocked me off trail in 2024, then hiking NOBO through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and out the other side, maybe as far as Hot Springs!. Hey, y'all. I'm Data (on trail). I'm a 64 yr old novice long-distance hiker, I'm on a 2 year quest to hike both the Ice Age Trail & the Appalachian Trail in 2025 - 2026.
