Nintendo Promotional VHS part 7 of 10: N64 Sports (1998)

In an effort to push video content out to its consumers in the mid to late 90s, Nintendo distributed VHS tapes, often free of charge, via mail and retail outlets. These videos showcased select games and consoles in an attempt to market them to target audiences using contrived plots and over-the-top actors. This video (part 7 of 10) presents "N64 Sports" that Nintendo distributed in 1998 to showcase its sports game lineup on the N64. Unlike many of their other promotional VHS tapes, this one does not feature any actors or contrived plots. Instead, it runs more like an extended commercial in which an announcer describes the games over a mix of game play footage and real sports footage.
