I SAVED France and Built an INSANE Peasant Economy in EU5 Across the Pillars (1.4)

Peasant and Free Subjects Economic Builds are BACK in EU5 1.4! France is an incredibly tough start at the moment, and it takes a lot of skill to grapple control over the country, but it's doable and in this video we use our peasants to help us get out of the stranglehold of our nobility. Estate management is often an art in Europa Universalis V, and there's lots of advice for you in here. The big change in 1.4 is a huge reduction in the amount you can Urbanise, with Food finally being a viable and limiting resource, now affecting population growth too which is essential for your long term economic development. But also a huge buff to Free Subjects, with 20% population demand across your entire economy! This makes up for the Urbanisation nerf, and gives highly urbanised economies a big advantage, you've just got to find that balance with food production. In this France save we balance the initial challenging start, show you the starting moves that you need to recreate to enjoy a successful game, and bridge that gap - Growing our economy, utilising urbanisation in 1.4 and staying out of starvation.
