दीपंकर बुद्ध I पञ्चदान चर्हे - २०७५

The purest day in a year for Dipankara Buddha’s alms giving is the day of Panchadan carhe (पञ्चदान चर्हे). पञ्चदान चर्हे is the last day before new moon during Gữlā month (गुँला पर्व). On this day, the five Dipankara Buddhas coming out from their permanent resident (Biharas) and circumambulate the whole city of Bhaktapur. The Buddhas dance throughout the city along with the natural trumpet, Pvaṅgā Bājā (पोंगा बाजा) played by Manandhars from Sakolan. The more details on video.
