This trip was a chance to reconnect with my roots, spend time with my parents and brother’s family, and rediscover the beauty of my hometown. From childhood memories at my parents’ house to a peaceful morning walk in Senshu Park, exploring the samurai residences of Kakunodate, and enjoying local specialties like Inaniwa udon, this trip reminded me of what makes Akita so special.
