Hi, I’m Nastya, and in this video we’ll practice the difference between TO and FOR through a full day of real-life English. While helping Kate settle into her new apartment, we’ll use these two small words for directions, people, actions, purposes, and everyday objects - so you can see why we say things like “take it to the kitchen” but “it’s for the kitchen.” You’ll follow practical conversations about moving boxes, organizing rooms, buying household supplies, giving things to people, assembling furniture, and finishing the apartment with Ben. Instead of memorizing TO and FOR as isolated grammar rules, you’ll practice recognizing the job each word is doing in a sentence and finish with a short challenge to check your understanding. This lesson is designed for A2–B1 learners who want to use TO and FOR more naturally in everyday English.
