Sansad TV Special: 75 years of Constitutional Journey (1951-1970) | 14 June, 2025

India – also known as Bharat – is the world’s largest democracy. A nation proud to be called the Mother of Democracy. Around 75 years ago, when India broke free from the chains of colonial rule, it needed a new path, a new vision. That path was lit by the Constitution of India — our guiding light, our living document. Crafted under the leadership of Dr. BR Ambedkar, the Constitution laid the foundation for a just, equal, and inclusive nation. It promised that no matter where we are born, every Indian would enjoy equal rights and equal opportunities. It declared that every citizen is equal – in rights, in duties, and in dignity. To share the remarkable journey of the Indian Constitution from its making to its impact on our Republic —Sansad TV presents a special broadcast series.
