Clinch Mountain Backstep (Lightning Fast Jam!) 2025 Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention

Buckle up for a blazing-fast version of “Clinch Mountain Backstep” from the 2025 Mount Airy Old Time Fiddlers Convention! This great Bluegrass jam features a fun mix of youth and seasoned pickers, with Peter Trakimowicz on banjo launching this tune at a pace few dare attempt. Hollace Oakes joins in on fiddle, and somehow, the whole crew — young and old — holds it together all the way to the end. The kids may have been driving the tempo, but the older folks did a fantastic job hanging on!
