Tom Martin (double bass) and Peter Adams (cello) perform the first movement, Allegro, of Rossini's Duet in D major for cello and double bass. Recorded on 20 August 2026 at the Gibden Scholars Summer Music Festival, Wells Cathedral School. The Gibden Scholars Summer Music Festival is a residential course for outstanding young string players, pianists and singers. The 2027 festival runs from 15 to 22 August 2027 at Wells Cathedral School, with a final concert at St James's Piccadilly, London.
