RESIDUAL HEAT — VOL.18
Music for rooms after people leave.
A late-night two-turntable DJ mix moving through trip-hop, downtempo, electronica, alternative dance and atmospheric pop.
Fourteen records. Different worlds. One continuous flow.
This is a continuous two-turntable DJ mix — records selected and mixed in real time, using two turntables and a mixer. No loops, no beat machine, no programmed DJ set.
Not made to impress with technique.
Made to connect sounds, images and memories and leave something behind after the music stops.

A late-night journey that begins with Parov Stelar’s “Faith”, bringing an immediate pulse and a touch of smoky European swing, before drifting into the warm, weightless world of AIR — “All I Need.”
Then the temperature drops.
Massive Attack — “Safe From Harm” brings the bass and shadow. Kid Loco — “Love Me Sweet” pulls the mood back into something intimate and cinematic, while Enigma — “Return To Innocence” opens the door to something more mysterious and hypnotic.
From there, the rhythm starts moving again.
Thievery Corporation — “Só Com Você” introduces Brazilian warmth and a deeper groove. Flunk’s Rune Lindbæk remix of “Blue Monday” turns the familiar New Order classic into something hazy, hypnotic and late-night.
Swandive — “Innocent” softens the edges before Kylie Minogue — “Confide In Me” brings a darker, sensual electronic pulse. Morcheeba — “Never Undo” keeps the atmosphere warm and intimate, while Hooverphonic — “2Wicky” pulls everything deeper into the shadows.
The final stretch becomes more spacious and nocturnal:
Nightmares On Wax — “Isolated” strips things down to a hypnotic groove. Senser — “Peace” adds tension and movement, and finally Archive — “Heart Beats” leaves the journey suspended somewhere between electronic melancholy and cinematic darkness.
