VHSR, alias of Reshav Sharma, is a DJ/producer born in Guwahati, Assam. His journey in electronic music began over a decade ago on the dance floors of Goa. He later discovered and immersed himself in the techno culture across clubs in India, eventually taking to the decks and producing music from 2019 onward. Since then, he has performed across the country, with highlights including sets at Habibi (Delhi), the LFO party at Loft (Goa), and a short residency at Felix (Goa) in 2025. He has shared the stage as an opening act for prominent artists including 16 Bit Lolitas, Tech Panda, Midnight Traffic, SHFT, Praveen Achary, 8-Bit Culprit, Calm Chor, Kiss Nuka, and Tasnneem, among many others. As a DJ, VHSR keeps things open-ended and versatile, maintaining a cohesive storytelling arc as he moves through deeper shades of atmospheric techno into fast-paced forest and psychedelic territory — blurring the lines between techno and trance, and diving into electro/breaks selections depending on time, situation, and venue. His productions are driven by sound, emotion, and movement, crafted to create an immersive journey for the listener while staying rooted in dance-floor energy. His sound can best be described as deep, spaced-out, and groovy — with evocative atmospheres and a blend of hypnotic and psychedelic elements.
