Join me for a walk from Kenmore Square to Fenway Park, exploring one of Boston’s busiest and most recognizable neighborhoods on a beautiful summer afternoon.
We begin in Kenmore Square and make our way toward Fenway, passing the Massachusetts Turnpike, Commonwealth Avenue, the famous Citgo-sign area, and several familiar landmarks around the ballpark.
Along the way, you’ll see:
Kenmore Square
Commonwealth Avenue
The Massachusetts Turnpike / I-90
Fenway Park
The House of Blues
Lansdowne Street
MGM Music Hall
Boston Conservatory
Local restaurants, shops, transit stops, and neighborhood activity
The locks of love along the bridge over the Mass Pike
Everyday Boston street life and people watching.
As always, this is not a formal guided tour. It is simply a real walk through the city, stopping to look at whatever catches our attention and sharing the experience as if you were walking along with me.
This neighborhood is especially interesting because it sits at the intersection of sports, music, nightlife, transit, college life, and some of
Boston’s most recognizable architecture.
If there is another Boston neighborhood or destination you would like to see, leave a suggestion in the comments.
