Tram 1480 2 meter and 70 CM Dual Band Vertical Ham Antenna. A Great antenna!
This video shows some of the things in building the Tram 1480 antenna. When I order the antenna I thought it said Tram 1040 and that is why in the video it says Tram 1040. However, looking at the paperwork on my video it says Tram1480. I have changed the title on my video to 1480. The paper work says it has a 239 on it. I am not sure what connector it is, but a male N-Connector fit in fine. I have a friend 3 blocks over who bought one as well who also has same connector on it.. Not sure what went wrong, but if you look at my video it has a some type of female Connector on there. The paperwork says TRAM antennas on it. As far as losses on the LMR 200 coax does have higher losses on VHF and UHF. I ended up using Wireman Wireman's Super 8 double shielded coax which is similar too the LMR 400. Antenna
